CHA 2008 Sneak Peak
This is just a small hint of what I've been working on...a few origami boxes with random background papers, sheet music and the must have-shipping tag. These little guys have been my obsession of late..a few quick folds..an easy mountain and valley score on the Scor-it board..and a handmade giftbox is right before your eyes! Check back tomorrow to find out where these little boxes are nesting...:)

MLK Day
This is a card that I made last year, using the gluepad and 4 different metal leafs...but I thought it was appropriate for today. I also read that most people don't know any of the other words to his Dream speech, so I put a link to it;

This is from my backyard yesterday, my husband and I noticed this enormous rainbow on our way home from the beach. We saw both sides..just not the middle. We sat outside, waiting for the sky to move..to no avail. This is all we could see from our yard..beautiful!

As the Crow Flies
I've just bee arting like crazy...got to get ready for CHA! I just got this great stencil from Dreamweaver, Crows on a line. I had a burst of ideas...I finally put together some of background papers, stamps, stencils and rub ons I've been collecting. I have to say, I love the availability of all of the bird motifs...Love the Birds!
On a seperate note..I got a gift certificate for Copperfields Bookstore for Giftmas..and I bought an awesome book. It's called Post Secret. It's based on a project where people handmade postcards, wrote out a secret they've never told anyone, or themselves, and then sent it in to Frank Warren, anonymously. It's incredible. The feel is so real. I guess that there are now four books..I got the first one..and need the next three. Now I know why the guys at Found! are always talking about this...check it out

Hi to 2008
Whew..seems like I haven't posted since last year..ok, cheesy joke. But that's how I like 'em. I've survived another holiday season..and am ready for this next one. Looking to be full of promise. I'm very excited..I got a camera for christmas. My lil old 1.3 megapixel is retired..upgrading to a 7.2 Cybershot. Hooray. I can take more than 12 hi res pictures before having to download.
Here are a few from my new years trip to San Francisco..
