Joan Mills

I had the chance this last weekend to demo at the Joan Mills Rep company show in Sacramento. It's always fun to catch up with my "show" friends..:) I got this quick pic of my demo table while trying to turn my camera off..

Ahh, in my garden

I had to get a few pics of the blooms in my yard..before the deer get 'em!

a few fabulous fuschias...

here come the wild blackberries...

This one popped up out of nowhere..a little birdie must have dropped the seed or something...but it's my favorite! I think it's a rose geranium..it smells de-lovely!

and of course, my lil' mac jr had to have his turn in the sun and in front of the camera..such a poser!

Stampbord Crazy

I've gone completely crazy over Stampbord..I must say. This stuff is soooo much fun! :) The full moon sample is my first try with the Stamp and Stick Gluepad on the sbord..and it works beautifully. This pic is a scan..I should take pics so you can see the gleam of the copper leafing..the background is all Memories Mists..

A big thank you to Stampscapes (http://www.stampscapes.com/home.html) for including this Butterfly set in with my last order! These stamps are gorgeous and to dye for! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I thought the 5 x 7 sbord just begged for some Pop art..This is a handcut Bob Dylan stencil, some Memories Mists and a little Stampbord smooshing..

Glue Smoosh

I had meant to do a new video this weekend..the Glue Smoosh. Spent the weekend walking around San Francisco with my husband, instead. It is so different than my little suburban town..where else but a big city would you see an extemperaneous drum parade? or a solo saxaphone playing to an empty street? Love it. My next trip will have pictures..:)

So this sample here is a little preview of the Glue Smoosh. It's hard to tell with this scan, but the wings and where the stars are..that's all reflective metallic. I drew over the top with a .001 Micron pen, only just tracing over lines that were already there..I'll definitely be doing more of these!

More Stampbord Samps

Here are just a few more Stampbord samples..I've been having a lot of fun! I bought some mdf board yesterday, hoping to try to create this same surface. Not quite working..but now I do have four 3 foot by 2 foot "canvases" to play with! Talk about extremes..all of these samples are 3 inches and under...:)

Stampscapes over Memories Mists..and a lil' bit of scratching

More Stampscapes, Mists and scratching...

Stampscapes man..Dreamweaver stencil background..Memories Mists..

Had to try this one freehand. Did the Memories Mists background and this little face popped out at me. Not exactly what I was going for at the time..but the more I look at it, the more I like..

and this one...complete scratching of a Woodware stamp image..all of the color was added
beforehand.
